Technical Account Manager - Northern California

Department: NORCAL ADMIN
Location: Fairfield, CA

Cook Solutions Group, listed as a 100 Best Companies to Work for, is looking for a Full-Time Technical Account Manager with our Commercial Sales Team. This person will bring excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills, a professional attitude and appearance, and the ability to integrate into our "We Make It Happen!" culture.

Summary: The Technical Account Manager is responsible for fulfilling sales revenue companywide on new company solutions; in conjunction with Strategic Solutions Managers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, account management, technical quote, and proposal creation as well as RFP responses, customer meetings, site surveys, and coordinating customer training.

Location: Northern California

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 year DOE + quarterly bonus

What you will do:

  • Create detailed and accurate customer quotes that include the following specifics: scope of work, survey details, project contact information, billing details and drawings as required, striving for a 48-hour turnaround.
  • Actively work with existing accounts and introduce additional reoccurring revenue service opportunities.
  • Teamed management of day-to-day interface with customers/prospects
  • Conducts site surveys as needed, assists other TAMs with surveys.
  • Ongoing communication and collaboration with Project team regarding customer projects
  • Responsible for updating CRM with latest correspondence for both customers and target prospects.
  • Actively work with existing accounts and works together with Strategic Solutions team to introduce additional reoccurring revenue service opportunities.
  • Responsible for working closely with local operations team in handing off installations and service conversions.
  • Maintains knowledge of service and product lines and reaches out to CSG resources and experts when applicable.
  • In conjunction with Strategic Solutions Manager, responsible for overall customer satisfaction and following company Sales and Operations Guidelines and Procedures. Acts as liaison between customers and internal CSG teams as needed.
  • Responsible for being educated on service and product lines and to reach out to CSG resources and experts when applicable.
  • Responsible for turning all quotes around within 48 hours except for large projects approved by local GM. Provides technical details regarding CSG and partner manufacturer products and solutions. Works closely with all CSG departments, providing ongoing communication and collaboration between service, operations, and accounting.
  • Continuously strives to improve partner/customer experiences.

What you will bring:

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; bachelor degree preferred; 1-3 years related experience and/or training; Complex solutions sales or technical sales experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
