Cook Solutions Group is hiring a Bench Repair Technician with excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills, a professional attitude and appearance, and the ability to integrate into our "We Make It Happen!" culture. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to analyzing and repairing equipment, electronic and computer hardware using hand, power tools and other special equipment by performing the following duties.

Location: Portland, OR - Near the Portland Airport

Pay: $20-$22 hour

What you’ll do:

1. Diagnosing and repairing down to the component level to include, but not limited to ATM’s PC’s, LCD’s, CRTs, and other electronic & computer hardware associated with the Banking industry.
2. Analysis the repair tags completed by Field Technicians, identify what needs to be repaired and complete task.
3. Log requested repairs, vs actual repairs.
4. Keep track of equipment on hand, supplies, materials, and inventory for repair purposes. Order as needed.
5. Support in product receiving and general warehouse duties.
6. De-Solder and remove components in micro-miniature circuits.
7. Repair high reliability micro-electric solder connections.
8. Perform preventative maintenance on test beds when needed.
9. Inspect micro-electronic repairs and identify defects in workmanship.
10. Ensures all work is performed to company quality standards and practices.
11. Assist in weekly cycle counts.
12. Assist in annual year-end inventory.
13. Assist with “Part Request” emails when assigned.
14. Works in compliance with Federal/State laws regarding safety of self and others always.
15. Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring:

HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; Two to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
